Communication Intern at VisionFund Tanzania

The Communication Intern will support the Communications and Marketing team in creating engaging visual and written content. The role focuses on graphic design, video creation, and digital storytelling to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement across multiple platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Create visual content including posters, banners, social media graphics, and campaign materials. Edit and produce short videos for social media, internal communication, and promotional use. Support content creation for digital platforms such as social media, websites, and email campaigns. Assist in developing creative concepts for communication campaigns. Ensure brand consistency across all visual and multimedia materials. Collaborate with the communications team on storytelling and content planning. Capture and edit photos and videos during events when required. Support basic social media management, including posting, scheduling, and engagement monitoring. REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar software. Basic to intermediate video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools. Creativity and strong visual storytelling ability. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. QUALIFICATIONS Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field. A portfolio of graphic design or video editing work is an added advantage. LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES Gain hands-on experience in real marketing and communication campaigns. Exposure to branding, digital marketing, and content strategy. Develop practical skills in graphic design, video production, and digital storytelling.
