- A client is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial strategy, project finance and commercial governance across its renewable-energy portfolio in East Africa.
- The role requires a senior finance leader with significant exposure to solar, infrastructure or renewable-energy projects, combined with strong capabilities in project finance, financial modelling, investment appraisal and stakeholder management.

Key Requirements
- Candidates should have:
- At least 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership experience.
- Strong exposure to solar, infrastructure or renewable-energy projects.
- Experience in project finance.
- Strong financial-modelling capabilities.
- Experience in investment appraisal.
- Ability to manage relationships with lenders and investors.
- Ability to engage effectively with government stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting.
- Strong understanding of taxation and compliance.
- Experience implementing and maintaining financial controls.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates should possess a relevant professional qualification such as:
CPA
ACCA
CFA
- Another relevant professional finance qualification
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
- Multi-country projects.
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Major capital investments.
