Department: TechnicalReports to: Maintenance ManagerDeadline: 10 August 2026 We are seeking to recruit a competent, self-motivated, and results-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our Technical Department at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, including milling machinery and related plant systems. Coordinate maintenance activities with Milling team while ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and quality standards. Supervise maintenance personnel, support equipment installation and commissioning, and manage critical spare parts. Analyze equipment performance, prepare maintenance reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Experience in flour milling, food processing, FMCG, or other continuous process industries is highly desirable. Experience with Bühler milling equipment will be a distinct advantage.
