Mechanical Engineer

• Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd. is seeking a competent, self-motivated, and results-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join its Technical Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment reliability, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• ✅ Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, including milling machinery and related plant systems.
• ✅ Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams while ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and quality standards.
• ✅ Supervise maintenance personnel and support equipment installation and commissioning activities.
• ✅ Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure operational continuity.
• ✅ Analyze equipment performance and prepare maintenance reports.
• ✅ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• ✔ Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is an added advantage.
• ✔ Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• ✔ Experience in flour milling, food processing, FMCG, or other continuous process industries is highly desirable.
• ✔ Experience with Bühler milling equipment will be a distinct advantage.
