Job Summary

Position: Purchase Officer

Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania

• Industry: Luxury Hospitality (5-Star & 7-Star Hotels)
• Salary: USD 2,500 – USD 3,000 per month (depending on experience)

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for hotel and hospitality operations.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best value.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely availability of required goods and services.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier performance metrics.
• Support inventory management and purchasing controls.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and hospitality management teams.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hospitality procurement experience.
• Experience working in 5-star luxury hotels or resort environments preferred.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
