• Site Manager – Mines

Key Responsibilities

• The Site Manager will:
• Lead and oversee day-to-day onsite mining and logistics operations.
• Manage the delivery and distribution of bulk products, including fuel, cement and related products.
• Serve as the primary onsite contact for the client and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coordinate daily activities with the client, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure efficient loading, offloading, truck turnaround and distribution operations.
• Monitor and achieve agreed client KPIs and service standards.
• Coordinate site manpower, resources, rotations and operational continuity.
• Lead and develop the onsite team.
• Ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
• Maintain strict compliance with QHSE standards, SOPs and operational controls.
• Oversee company assets, equipment, certifications, maintenance and legal documentation.
• Identify operational risks and promptly escalate issues that could affect service delivery.
• Maintain effective relationships with relevant client representatives and government authorities.
• Support business development, cost control and continuous-improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Candidates should have:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the mining and logistics sector.
• Relevant experience in areas such as logistics, supply chain, procurement, distribution, operations or site management.
• Proven experience managing onsite operations within a mining environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, Mining, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment, spares and logistics operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of QHSE requirements and operational controls.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong planning and analytical capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Commercial, budgeting and cost-management capabilities.
• Ability to perform effectively in a demanding, fast-paced mining-site environment.
